Common questions

Will it fit under an 8 foot ceiling?

Yes. At 71 inches it leaves about two feet of clearance under a standard ceiling, enough for a cat to sit upright on the top perch.

What is the best cat tree for a Maine Coon?

A Maine Coon needs a tree at least 60 inches tall with a wide, weighted base and oversized perches. Our 71 w/ Box stands 71 inches with a solid lumber frame built for cats over 15 pounds, and the Mini Maine Coon Heavy Duty Tower offers the same big platforms in a smaller footprint.

How do I get my tree?

Three ways: free pickup at our Redmond workshop, buy from one of the pet stores that stock our trees, or have it freight shipped. Freight orders are strapped to a pallet, fully wrapped, and delivered curbside by a freight carrier. The freight cost is paid by the buyer at the carrier's rate, on top of the tree price. Use the estimator above for a ballpark, then contact us for your exact quote.

Can I change the height or layout?

Absolutely. Every tree is built to order, so tell us in the order form and we'll adjust height, perch size, or box placement to fit your space.

What if the sisal wears out?

We sell replacement wraps and can show you how to redo a post in about 15 minutes. The tree itself will outlast several wraps.

How much does it cost to ship a cat tree?

In Bend and Redmond, pickup and local delivery are free. Along our store routes through Salem, the Portland metro, Eugene and Hood River, we deliver on our regular runs. Every order starts with a quick request form, and WTW confirms price and delivery within a business day. Everywhere else in the lower 48, trees ship strapped to a pallet by freight carrier, typically $350 to $950 depending on your distance from Redmond and billed at the carrier's cost on top of the tree price, so orders start with a quick request form and we quote your exact rate. Eight Pacific Northwest pet stores also stock our trees.

All trees ship from Redmond, Oregon. The closer you are to Central Oregon, the lower the freight.

Every tree ships strapped to a pallet by freight carrier, anywhere in the lower 48. Freight is billed at the carrier's cost, on top of the tree price. Get a ballpark here, then contact us for your exact quote. Pickup in Redmond, or local delivery around Bend and Redmond, is always free.

Ranges reflect current published LTL market rates for one pallet (about 100 to 150 lb) delivered curbside to a home with a liftgate, from Bend, OR.

Our story

A little workshop in Redmond with a lot of sawdust.

WTW Pet Products is a veteran owned family workshop in Redmond, Oregon. Founder Lance, an Army veteran, built his first cat tree for Willis, an abandoned kitten the family rescued. Willis approved, friends wanted one, and a business was born. Today the whole family is part of WTW in some way.

Every tree still comes out of our Central Oregon workshop, built one at a time from solid lumber and real Oregon sourced wood with rewrappable sisal, every joint screwed and stapled, never glued. Our trees are sold in more than 20 pet store locations across Oregon and ship by freight anywhere in the lower 48. No particle board, no factory line, no tree we wouldn't put in our own living room.

Do you ship your cat trees?

Yes. Pickup at our Redmond workshop and local delivery around Bend and Redmond are free. We deliver along our store routes through Salem, the Portland metro, Eugene and Hood River. Everywhere else in the lower 48 ships by freight carrier at the carrier's cost, and we quote your exact rate before you commit.

Do they come fully assembled?

Yes, they come fully assembled and ready to use.

Do you use glue?

No. Every tree is screwed and stapled, never glued.

Care, safety, wholesale and how to pay.

Product care

To maintain your pet furniture, brush it to remove hair and use the vacuum hose attachment for a thorough cleaning. If your cat tree is over 4 feet tall, we recommend anchoring it to the wall for added stability.

Safety

  • This tree is designed for use by cats only. Please keep children away.
  • To prevent choking hazards, keep all small parts out of reach of children and pets.
  • Never climb, rock, shake, step on, or hang from the cat tree, as this could cause harm or injury to people or pets.
  • Place your cat tree indoors, away from direct sunlight or damp areas.
  • Make sure the cat tree sits on a flat, level surface for maximum stability.
  • Regularly check the cat tree for loose screws or parts that may need tightening.
  • If the cat tree becomes torn or damaged, please dispose of it.
